Welcome to Snitterfield Sports Football Club

Snitterfield Sports Football Club has been established historically as a very small club for over 20 years, however, in the last few years thanks to the will and determination of those that now run and support the club, and with the backing of Snitterfield Sports Club and Sponsors, SSFC now have strong teams for the following age groups: Under 9 ’s, Under 10's, two Under 12’s teams, Under 14’s and Under 15’s.

The Club is always growing, developing and improving and we are open to new players, boys and girls, for each new season. If you would like more information, would like to help out as a parent or would like to sponsor the Club in any way, please contact us.

Snipe Six Results

Snitterfield Junior Football Club held their annual Snipe Six road race on Sunday 26th June. The event helps generate money for club funds.

Race organisers, Beckie Reaper and Sarah Protheroe were delighted with the number of competitors, especially as it was such a hot day. This year’s event attracted 86 runners including members from Stratford, Birchfield, Leamington & Kenilworth athletic clubs. Whilst the element of fun remained the competition for the placings was fierce. Other entrants were happy just to take part for personal satisfaction, following their father Paul Hickey’s triple heart bypass operation last year, sisters, Emma Richardson & Rachel Hickey ran to raise money for Leicester Hospital Cardiology Ward, Also running for the sense of achievement was 81 year old, Allen Watts who made the three hour journey from Dyfed just to take part.

The race was won by Adam Watt, Birchfield in a new course record of 31 minutes 40 seconds, Susan Harrison, Leamington Athletics Club was the first lady home in a time of 36 minutes 53 seconds. The veterans places were taken by Michael Williams, Kenilworth Runners  (37 minutes 43 seconds) and Monica Williamson, Leamington Athletics Club (38 minutes 52 seconds)
